A tutorial on how to select a variable, select the time and do some preprocessing operations with INA is available here: INA_Tutorial2_VARIABLE_TIME_PREPROCESS_v3.pdf

The user follows a logical sequence that drives from importing the data from a file and defining the variable of interest and the time interval to the analysis itself:

IMPORT DATA -> SELECT VARIABLE -> SELECT TIME -> PREPROCESS -> Analysis

This sequence is achieved by using buttons from an “active” control panel displayed in all INA windows at right. In addition to selecting a variable from a data file, INA alows several ways to select the time of interest and to apply a series of preprocessing algorithms on the the variable.  The user can also use the fixed buttons on the left panel and “jump” between various sections of the library (data selection, time selection, analysis method selection). By default, the first variable appearing in the top of the right panel is chosen for the further processing, the default time interval is set as the full time interval of the uploaded data file, and the default preprocessing option is the “unmodified” (i.e. no pre-processing).
