STORM - Solar system plasma Turbulence:  Observations, inteRmittency and Multifractals

The main component of this WP is fundamental theoretical research driven by data analysis.

Data sets of very good quality, stationary, corresponding to fully developed turbulence, preferably in the solar wind will be identified. A generalization of the concept of avalanches (key element in FSOC models) will be attempted for the turbulent process identified in experimental observations. Then a generalization of the concept of finite-sized scaling and its possible link with ROMA will be investigated.
